How to fix webmail login loops or blank pages

Resolve Roundcube and webmail access problems in cPanel environments.

Webmail blank pages and login loops usually come from stale sessions, browser issues, corrupt mailbox state, or service-side errors affecting the selected webmail app.

Common symptoms

  • Roundcube opens blank
  • Logging in returns to the same page
  • One mailbox fails while others work

Troubleshooting steps

  1. Clear cookies for the webmail hostname and retry in a private browsing session.
  2. Test another browser to distinguish local browser problems from service issues.
  3. Try the alternate webmail access method provided by your service, such as domain-based and client-area links.
  4. Confirm the mailbox credentials work and that the mailbox is not full.
  5. If only one mailbox is affected, test whether the issue follows the mailbox or the browser by trying from another device.

  • A full or damaged mailbox state can produce unexpected webmail behavior for one account only.
